Addressing problems

I have the weirdest problem that I have never seen before
When I create a new email and select the address to send
it to .. and then send it .. it does NOT get sent to the
addess that I selected.. but goes to a DIFFERENT
address.. It seems that OUTLOOK is choosing the next
address in "sequence" .. ie.. If I addressed the message
to Bill Smith .. it gets sent to whoever is next say Fred
Smith..
This is extremely dangerous.. you do not know who will
get your message regardless of who it is addressed to ..

This occurs regardless of whether you select the address
from the address book or enter it manually ..

Does anyone know how to fix this ..
