Adjust calendar view to current date

In order to create a uniform presentation view for the company, I am
interested in creating a presentation view which should display a fixed time
period.

The time period should be relative to the current date, going one month back
in time and 6 months forward in time.

In other words: I am looking for an automatic way of scaling the calendar,
rather than having the user define start and end dates.

By the way, can different display settings be an issue when it comes to the
calendar scale or does Project autofit the calendar so that the specified
time frame will fill the Gantt portion of the view?

Hi,

Is this on PWA or Project Pro?

In PWA, Server Settings, have you modifed the view?

or

In Project Pro, on the gantt on the timescale, right click and select
timescale and then save this as a new view.

Hi,

It is a view on Project Pro 2007.

The issue is that I need the view to, at all times, be relative to the
actual date (1 month back and 6 months forward).

In other words the view on August 1st should display the period July 1st to
January 31st and on September 1st it should display the period Augsut 1st to
February 28th .
