Dear friends,

I have a DB. Now i want to print the report on a specific paper on regular
basis. Such that i don't need to do adjustment again and again but once
adjusted format
( page margins, page boarders, page type or size.. A3, A4 etc) should it
hold permanently. Whenever i want to print a report it should print
automaticaly with the saved format on the page.

How can I do. Please help.

Regards,

Khaksar.

This will be difficult if you print from different printers. If it is
the same printer, consider setting up your paper size and margins
after specifying a "specific printer" under page setup. You also have
the option of compiling to .MDE after setting up your report so that
the report can't be changed.

In the past, there were defects in some versions of Access which caused
printer settings to be lost, but, AFAIK, those have been corrected by
Service Packs and new versions of Access. If you are doing what was
suggested, but the settings are being lost, then you need to visit
Microsoft's site to download and install current service for the version of
Access you are using, or upgrade to a more recent version of Access.

I am not aware of any particular problem in this regard that is specific to
impact printers, provided there is, and the user has installed, a Windows
printer driver for your device.
