admin msg: bounced mail

P

Phil The Fruitbat

In Outlook we have four accounts. One of these accounts is not being allowed
to receive any mails. We are getting the following mail for each mail trying
to be received. It is telling me tha tthe inbox is full, although to me the
inbocx is virtually empty.

A message was sent to you that was returned to the sender(bounced) because
it would have caused your mailbox quota to be exceeded.

The following is the reason that the message was over quota:

Quota Type: bytes in the mailbox
Quota Available: 0
Total Quota: 10485760

The following is the information on the message that was bounced:

Sender: <xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.com>
Subject: McAfee Services Receipt
Size: 3547
Message ID: <[email protected]>
Date: Tue Sep 13 10:56:16 2005

Reply-To: [No Reply-To]

The message was bounced from the following folder:

INBOX

To fix this problem, delete some messages from your mailbox, and contact the
sender to resend the message.

If the size of the message is too big, contact the sender to reduce the size
of the message and resend the message.

What kind of accounts are you using? Are you leaving a copy of each message
on the server? Maybe the inbox on the server is full even though you've
deleted the messages from Outlook.
