Admin Project "Standard" Hours in Data Analysis

When using the Timesheet cube to view the Administrative hours there is a
timesheet class titled "Standard", is this the actuals reported from
completed project task hours? It is not a classification in our
Administrative timesheet where resource may enter Admin time so I am assuming
it is actual task progress reported on projects during the same time period?

Hi Darrell,

not quite, the standard is the standard classification of your admin tasks.
You can add new classifications, but the standard one will always remain.
Hope this helps

O.K.... I think I see what is happening. We do not use the timesheets for
entering project task progress, we only use the timesheets for tracking
administrative time, so we are set up so that a timesheet only has the admin
section and does not, by default, contain the project tasks. This gives me
the following categories – Admin, Sick Time, Vacation, etc., and the list
does not include “Standardâ€. However, if I populate the timesheet with my
project tasks and enter actuals I will see those actuals under the “Standardâ€
category when I view timesheet data in Data Analysis. The “Standard†category
is any project task progress entered into a submitted timesheet.
