admin projects, max hours per day, availability and leveling

My agency has three base calendars for work resources:

Standard - 5-8 hour days per week,
9-80 Group 1 - 8-9’s and an 8 with every other Friday off, and
9-80 Group 2 - 8-9’s and an 8 with every other Friday off, the Friday off
being Group 1’s working Friday

In Project Web Access, Tasks, after clicking “Notify your manager of time
you will not be available for project work†the Administrative Project Tasks
to which I have been assigned appear. When I enter 9h in the appropriate
date/task box, an error message appears: “The value entered exceeds the
maximum allowed value for work hours per day.â€

The Admin Project Calendar and resource calendar provides a 9h day, the
Calendar tab of the Admin Project’s Options has been changed to make a 9h day
/45 hour week standard.

1. What do I need to change to allow resources to enter 9h when reporting
Admin Time via “Notify your manager of time you will not be available for
project work?â€

Also:

2. True or False – Using Admin Projects and the “Notify your manager of time
you will not be available for project work†function within Project Web
Access does not effect resource availability information directly.

3. True or False – The only way to change resource availability is to modify
that resource’s base calendar using the Change Working Time function.

4. True or False – While using Admin Projects and the “Notify your manager
of time you will not be available for project work†function within Project
Web Access does not directly effect resource availability, it may result in
over allocation of a resource which can be corrected through a leveling
process.

Any help will be appreciated.
