Admin projects won't change "owner"

I have two Admin projects that belong to other managers. I originally
created the plans and published them, but I've changed the ownership to other
managers. When employees update their tasks in these plans, the updates are
still coming to me. How can I stop this? I'm leaving the company at this
end of this week and must find an answer before I go. Thanks in advance.

Did you follow the steps listed here in my post? Changing ownership requires
a republish by the new owner.

Actually, yes. I've had the real project owner republish assignments and
"become the manager". Didn't help. Maybe there were a few tasks that she
missed or maybe she had "selected tasks" selected in the drop down. I'll
keep looking - I think I'm on the right track. Thanks.

You may also want to verify that you have no outstanding updates to the
project. Otherwise, the owner change won't complete correctly.
