administration issues

When I am in Front Page and go to Tools | Server | Permissions, I can no
longer get there. I am the admin of the site.

This started quit awhile ago, but because our Front Page load is small, I
just did what needed to get me on to other projects.

Any suggestions. I'm sorry this is so general, but I don't remember what
may have changed at the time. I just need various opinions to think about.

Are you do this on the live/remote server that you are paying for web hosting? If so, then you need
to contact your web host.

I am the web hosting for our college. We use the server to host students
sites that are required by certain classes. The server is all mine to
provide them work space. I used to be able to set beside a student in the
lab and check their permissions, etc, till we got them working. Now I have
to remote into the server and open the administration program the server
directly.

What have you changed/installed on the server since the last time you were able to do this?
You might also want to post this to the Windows Server, newsgroup as well.

If you have upgraded the server to Windows 2003 Server (FPSE 2002) or if running Windows 2000 Server
and you upgraded the FPSE 2002, you have to access the FPSE Admin function from the Admin Tools |
Server Extensions Admin.
