Administrative Installation Point problem

I'm trying to create an admin install point using
Microsoft's directions
- from the Office CD: setup /a data1.msi

It starts, says it's preparing to install - and several
minutes later it completes without any prompts. I don't
even know "where" it installed to.

What's the trick to making this work?

Hi John,

You'll get that result if you try to setup
an Office Admin point using an OEM copy of
Office 2000. Office Admin Points are not
supported in OEM product. You'll probably
find the files in the root directory of the
drive that Windows is on.
