administrative installation

I AM tring to set up an administrative installation file
on a server. I ran the instalation two difrent ways

d:\setup.exe /a
d:\setup.exe /a data1.msi

both times I get the same problem. the install app starts
and hangs, dosent go any where.

Anyone else ever see this issue?

Hi Mike,

What version of Office are you using? (I'm guessing Office 2000)
Office XP only supports Admin installs with Enterprise copies.
Office 2000 only supports Admin installs with non-OEM copies.

Are you logged in as administrator?
