Administrative projects of Project server

Hello!
We have a lot of problems with "administrative projects" - non-project
items for which we need to report time (vacation days, sick time, etc).
The problem is that these administrative projects still seem to behave
like normal projects. For example, MS Project still tries to calculate
an end date, a task duration, the amount of remaining work, etc, for
things like sick time or vacation. I would really appreciate if I could
get any help on how to correctly use the "administrative project"
feature of Project Server.
Thank you.

Hi Glimmer,

You shouldn't assign any resources to Administrative tasks, just add your
resources to the Resource Sheet and build the team from enterprise. Later on
team members will assign themselves to the administrative tasks as needed and
for the duration they need.

I hope this was helpful.

Regards,

Armand
