Hello guys,

I am testing the administrative restore function within Project Server 2007
and it to me not to work.

Ok, I deleted a project using the "Delete Enterprise Objects" function, then
I tried restoring it using the "Administrative Restore" function, but I can
seem to get it back on the Project Center view.

Please what 'am I doing wrong

Do you mean you CANNOT see it in the Project Center page? If so, this means
you need to open the restored project in Project Professional 2007 and
publish it again. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem, but I cannot see the project in the project server
list when I try to open it in Project Pro 2007. The MANAGE QUEUE list says it
restored successfully, but I cannot find it in the Project Center or in the
list of projects on PRoject Server.

Any ideas???

When you click File - Open in Project Professional 2007, you then need to
click the "Retrieve the list of all projects..." item at the top of the list
of projects. This should show you the list of all projects in the Project
Server database. If you still do not see your project, then I suspect that
the Restore operation was not successful, in spite of the Queue success
message. Hope this helps.

Yep,,,been there done that. I guess.....what we have here.....is a
failure....to communicate......it says it worked...but nobody told them it
crapped out....

Hello,

When i backup a project and delete it, the workspace is still there but not
linked anymore, right? Because when i published a restored project, project
asked me if i want to create a workspace for this project, but i cant put in
a website-url which already exist (the still existing workspace). How can a
link a restored project with the "old" workspace? Thanks for your help!
