Hello All,

I have office 2003 installed on my machine. I want to install the latest
service packs and security patches for my office products.

when I go to the officeupdate.microsoft.com site and check for updates,
I find office xp service pack 3 in the list of updates.

However I am not able to select it because it says I need an
administrative version of this update due to a previously installed updates.

The question is should I install this service pack? because I have
office 2003 whereas this pack is for office xp? and second that how do I
get the administrative version of an update?

Thanks for your help in advance.

regards,
Abhishek.

This message sounds as though your installation of Office
was via a network administrative installation. In that
case, the service pack must be applied to the PROPLUS.MSI
on the server, then the repair run on the computer. This
is found in Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs -
MSOffice - Support - Repair.
