Administrator Access - Problems deleting users

D

Declan D

Good Afternoon,

I am using Microsoft Project Server 2003 in a Vanilla Enviornment (All
apps on the one server)

I have recently noticed that when I am logged in as administrator, I
can no longer delete users. These are the steps that I take:

I go to 'Clean up the Project Server Database'

Then I go to 'Resource' and I select the user I wish to delete

Then I click on the delete button and this is the error that I
receive:

You do not have the proper permissions to perform the requested
action. Contact your server administrator for additional permissions.

The point is, is that I am currently logged in as administrator, so
how could this be happening.

I have seen this error posted before, but unfortunaly no solution has
been given

Any help is greatly appreicated

You should check not only that Administrators have permission to delete
resources, but also that such deletion is permited in the global settings.

Good Afternoon Reid,

Thanks for your help on this, it is greatly appreciated!

I checked in the Admin and then Server Configuration and I saw that we
have the option to delete resources. Is there anything eles you can
think of?

Is there any way that you can reset the administrator account or
something in that line?

Again thanks
