Administrator can't open OL2000 in XP Pro

Installed Office 2000 in XP Pro (while logged on as
administrator). All programs work fine with the exception
of Outlook. When I try to open OL I get an error message
informing me that OL can not open because an
administrator must install it and configure it. I am
completely web upgraded both for Office 2000 and XP Pro.
