Give the user admin rights to the PC and see if it works.
If it does then your problem is policy\access rights
related. If not then the installation is corrupt. From
Office 2K and upwards M$ used an appauling installer that
unfortunately has a tendency to want to run for no reason
everytime a new user logs onto the workstation, thereby
creating a new profile. All these measures were nothing to
do with improving Office, they're anti-piracy measures.
Designed to make users lives more difficult. Unfortunately
they've also made they're own lives more difficult in
doing this as well. Well stupidty, stupidty Microsoft.
Once you take the local admin rights away you may find
Office will then work.
- Easiest way? Drop "Domain Users" into the local
Administrators group. You will need to do this loggged on
as an Administrator.
fine in the administrator login but gives this fault if
logged in as a user. I did not install the software, is
there a multi user installation ? Or have I got got some
restrictions in the security set to high. Thanks, Den

Hi, After installing Office on a Windows 2000 machine, I
fine in the administrator login but gives this fault if
logged in as a user. I did not install the software, is
