ADMX Files for Office 2007

Alex Fischer

Hi !

Can anybody help me ? I'm searching for ADMX-Files for Office 2007.
ADM-Files are already available but there are not accepted on a Vista
plaform and even trying to convert them with the adm/admx-convert tool
supported from Microsoft doesn' t lead to success.

Does anybody know where or when they will be available?

Thanks for any help.

Hi Alex,

At present the only Group Policy files for Office 2007 are .ADM ones, but those should still be adapatable for use on Vista.
http://microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/library/02633470-396c-4e34-971a-0c5b090dc4fd.mspx Otherwise there would also be
problems in applying other ADM template policies from older software versions that can be installed/deployed on Vista.

I suspect that the Office 2007 Resource Kit (http://microsoft.com/office/ork) will continue to be updated for awhile now that both
Vista and Office 2007 are released to add in more information about using these products together.
