ADMX for Powerpoint

D

Derek Cooper

I have a need at our small community college to help with printing costs.
One suggestion was to require powerpoint in the labs to only be able to
print handouts. I loaded the office 12 admx files on our server but there is
nothing in the group policy templates for this. Anyone out there have
something or be willing to write for a small fee? I have searched and can
only find one article on how to create an admx file from scratch...

Hi Derek,

I don't recall this being something that can be set with a registry / policy entry. The listings are in
http://office.microsoft.com/download/afile.aspx?AssetID=AM102533161033

It might be possible with a macro to modify/restrict the print dialog to certain types but that could be disabled. You may want to
check with the folks in the Powerpoint group using the link below.
