ADO and linked librarys with access

in my mdb i have included stored procs and views that uses functions defined in vba.
now if i use this views via ado this functions cann't be used. the could not be found.

why and how can i overcome this.

my target is, to create a stored proc that uses functions from external dll's that i have designed. id mssql this is possible i think. but how to do this in access

This is more a T-SQL issue. I suggest you post your question to the SQL Server newsgroup.

With T-SQL i could do this inside msql but for me the problem is i need it in access

As I understand it, Achim, the functions that are available in Jet SQL when
executed outside of the Microsoft Access environment are the functions
supported by the Jet expression service. If it's not supported by the Jet
expression service then, to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to use
it in Jet SQL outside of Microsoft Access.

At my blog (URL below in my sig line) I'm working my way in alphabetical
order through the list of built-in VBA functions to find out which ones can
be used outside of the Microsoft Access environment. I'm only up to
functions beginning with 'P', and haven't updated it recently, but I'll try
to do some catching-up this weekend.
