We are thinking of upgrading to Office 2003, does anyone know if Adobe
Acrobat 5.0.5 is compatible? I cannot find anything on Adobe's site
regarding Office 2003.
Thanks

I would recommend against it.

I installed Office 2003 on a computer that had Adobe
5.05. The hyperlinks that worked in Office 2000 no longer
work even though all other functions are operational. For
me it's a significant glitch that has caused me to use an
old backup computer running Windows 98 and Office 2000
for business documents requiring a hyperlink.

I have had very long and detailed conversations with the
Adobe tech people and the work around for this problem is
eliminating the "http://" portion of the address. The
only problem with this approach is that Office 2003 Excel
won't let you use the hyperlink function without those
letters and slashes.

We have around 900 users, we just purchased Acrobat 5.0.5 a year ago, but
looks like we will need to bite the bullet.

Lillian, do yourself a favor before you install AR 6.01 uninstall AR 5.0.5.

If you install 6 then choose to unistall 5 your associations will be messed up.

AR 6 takes a long time to open, I uninstalled it (6) and reinstalled AR 5. AR 5.0.5 has also been updated to 5.1.
