Adobe Acrobat PDF Maker Toolbar

I have installed on my machine Adobe Acrobat 6.0.2 Professional.

When I open Microsoft Word 2004 (v11.1), a PDF Maker Toolbar appears in the
bottom left of the other viewed toolbars.
In addition, my autosave saves blank documents to a PDFMaker.doc.

Thus, if Word crashes, instead of saving my document, the Normal.doc it
backs up is the PDFMaker.doc, which is blank.

Unchecking the PDF Maker Toolbar does nothing for the next Word re-start. I
couldn¹t find anything regarding this toolbar in the Adobe Acrobat
preferences.

Any suggestions?

If you don't use the PDF Maker toolbar regularly, my suggestion would be to
get rid of it completely, especially since you always have the possibility
of using the Adobe Printer in the print menu. Check John McGimpsey's
