Adobe FIle Opening

I have a RunTime Access XP application that opens Adobe files from some of it's Forms. This works great with Reader 5.0 and 6.0, as well as Full Acrobat 6.0 on all test computers. I had to add the Adobe.tbl and a .dll file, but it works fine across the board. In one of the areas the application is deployed, the selection of the .pdf file brings up the "Error 429, ActiveX cannot open the object." error message. I have ensured that the Adobe .dll's are registered and that all references are in place. But the error persists. If I load the Full Acrobat, either 5.0 or 6.0, there is no problem. THis only occurs in this one area of deployment. The error cannot be replicated in testing environment unless all Adobe Readers are uninstalled

ANy ideas or suggestions?
