adobe Hyperlink won't open

I have Office 2003 SP2 Windows XP Sp2 and Adobe reader 7. When I try to setup
a hyperlink to Adobe it starts to open the then close's. If I try to open any
other type of file it opens fine.

i was not impressed with adobe 7 reader
but found firefox to be much better - functional wise...

since both of the above are free, unistall 7 and
tryout firefox pdf reader
