Recently I edited a document which was initially scanned into Adobe then
converted to Word 2007. I was able to successfully edit the document,
however, after I saved it some "gremlins" in the background messed up my
formatting and some of the letters were changed to numbers and/or symbols.
It was embarassing because I though the document was perfect and delivered
the file to my manager. I then re-edited it and saved it, then went back
into the document and again...different formatting and symbols appeared. I
did this numerous times and the corrections now seem to be "sticking". Is
there an easier way to make sure this doesn't happen again?
