ADP - chicken or the egg

Using the Access 2007 client, is there a way to create an Access ADP from an
already existing SQL Database?

The only way this seems possible is to have an already existing ADP file and
merely point it to the new database via its connection dailog-the delete
existing non-relavent objects (a.k.a. forms/reports/modules +).

Of course you can create a new ADP either agianst existing SQL Server
database or creating a new SQL Server database, using ACCESS2007.

Here is the step:

1. Click the "Office button" (the one on upper left corner after you start
Access2007;
2. Select "New" in menu;
3. On right side, click folder icon;
4. In "File New Database" dialog box, enter database name AND from "Save as
Type" dropdown list, choose (*.adp) as file type, then OK;
5. Click "Create" button. This brings up a message box, asking to connect to
existing database or create new database. Make your choice and follow the
wizard.

So, there is no "chicken or egg" issue.
