ADP or DAP

What is the difference between a DAP (Data Access Page) and an ADP(Access
Data Page)? I am a Beginner and confused. Help please. I want to create a
page to put on an internet website to view and edit records in an Access
Database on my local computer. Also can I use a Combo Box to search for the
record to fill the ADP?

Data Access Pages have been deprecated, so Microsoft will only continue to
support existing functionality for a few versions. Access Data Pages are an
Access front-end connected to a SQL-Server back-end.

Until at least the next version of Access, the best solution is to build an
asp page, or asp.net page as a front-end to a SQL-Server back-end on the web
if you are getting lots of hits, or you can use an Access/JET back-end for
light duty or mostly read only work. If you don't have many users, the
cheapest solution is to use Terminal Services.

It's Access Data *Project*, not Pages.

Yes it is. And it didn't even take a certain well known ADP troll to point
that out <g>

Thanks Armen.
