Outlook doesn't do newsgroups. You posted here using Outlook EXPRESS.
Ask in its newsgroup (microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general) on how to
use that program to retrieve and search the newsgroups list.
You also posted using Microsoft's NNTP server. That only carries the
microsoft.* newsgroups. If you want football newsgroups, you'll have to
connect to an NNTP server that carries those newsgroups.
