Advanced Caption-style

Hey. Is it possible to edit the style of the caption text for tables,
pictures to give it the following proporties:

E.g. caption for a table.

Table 2-5: Annual income for a ten-year period.

Where "Table 2-5:" should be bold, and where the text "Annual income
for a ten-year period" should not be bold.

Is it possible to do this easily, whitout having to edit all captions
in the document.

Captions use the caption paragraph style, so initially set that style
characteristics to reflect the appearance of the bulk of the text in the
captions ie the "Annual income for a ten-year period" bit.

You'll then need to add the bold characteristic to the "Table etc" bit using
the replace function
ie replace Table ^d SEQ (format style caption)
with
^& (format font bold)

You should toggle the display of the field content (ALT+F9) for the replace
to work. Toggle back later.

Hey Graham!

Thanks for your answer. I understand everything untill the
"replace-thing". Here is a field code of one of my figures:

Figure { STYLEREF 1 \s }-{ SEQ Figure \* ARABIC \s 1 }: Description of
figure

I assume it's something in the field code I need to edit? I cant find
any ^d SEQ as you write?

Damn!

^d (^19)is the field code STYLEREF and SEQ are the field types.

However in this case a wildcard search for Figure*: should do the trick
