Advanced controls on command bars

I've managed to add a combobox control to a commandbar now I want to add and
edit box and a spin control. I can see a msoControlSpinner and msoControlEdit
control type but can't seem to get them working. Can they be used on commandbars
or do I need to use form and make it look/behave like a command bar?

Thanks
Alex

Don't be confused by the fact that both the UserForm and CommandBar objects
have a controls collection. The two collections, while they confusingly have
the same name, are quite different beasts, and cannot be interchanged.

The CommandBar Controls collection in Word can contain an edit control but
it appears that the spinner is not available to Word though it seems that it
can be used in other Office applications.

Thanks Jonathan,

I'm finding it hard not to be confused :).
