Advanced cross-referencing

J

Joakim

Hi!

I have interesting problem with cross-references. I have a chapter
layout as follows

Heading 1 Chapter
Heading 2 Sub-Chapter
Heading 3 Paragraph
S1
A1
A2
S2
A1
Heading 3 Paragraph2
S1
A1
S2

and so weiter. This is working fine, but the problem is to have
cross-refrences working the way i like to do.

I want to make a cross-reference to different Actions, for instance,
A2 (Paragraph --> S1) that look like the following:
.... see "S1 A1 of Paragraph".

I have tried doing by styles and numbering with full context
cross-references but this doenst seem to work. Any WORD-expert have a
clue and wanting to help me, i would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks in advance

Joakim

If you choose the "Full context" option when you cross-reference the
number of (say) a third-level heading, the cross-reference will
include the relevant heading numbers from levels 1 through 3, assuming
that your heading numbering is set up as an outline numbered list.

If you need information about how to correctly set up heading
numbering, please see
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/outlinenumbering.html.

Note also that if you want to insert both the text and the number of a
heading, you'll have to insert multiple cross-references.
