Advanced Filter

When i try to use this option,having selected a list and
its criteria,a message appears saying Excel has genereated
error and must be restarted.

I´m not sure if i'm translating the error right cause i
got the spanish version of Office 2000 Premium SR-1.

Anybody's got a suggestion?
