When using the Advanced Find function in Outlook 2003 the From field
is handled differently depending on whether you select the Messages
tab or the Advanced tab.
The Messages tab allows searches for both Display Names and substrings
within an email address. The Advanced tab only searches amongst the
Display Names.
Using the Messages tab therefore allows you to isolate all mail from
all people at a particular domain. However this does not seem to work
for the case where you enter the local domain name.
Is there some way you can narrow the search to find mail From all
people in the local domain?
The situation involves a public folder which has a large collection of
both inbound and outbound mail, and for all local users.
