Advice about how to become a virtual technology person

I am interested in marketing my services to small businesses and individuals. I teach people how to use MS Office products and accounting software and I develop custom spreadsheets, forms, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can do this virtually. How do you market this type of service to people outside your immediate geographic area?

Get involved with the local chamber and maybe attend

some of their network breakfasts and other events. Have
a lot of business cards on you and shake alot of
hands... and of course, smile all the way to the
bank..
