Advice on Duplicates

Hi, i have this table with two fields... the 1st field has a list of
card numbers which may be repetitive therefore that column of field is
not unique... and the 2nd field contains the amount of money each card
number holds.
I need to find out the number of times the same card number appears
(no. of recurrences) and the total amount of money the same card number
holds (adding of the total amount of money each set of card numbers
hold).

Can someone kindly reply me on this?!?! Thank You!!!!!

Just make a new query on the table, select fields CardNo and Amount, press
the summation button on the toolbar (Greek Sigma) to make it a Totals query,
and set totals function to Group By for CardNo and Sum for Amount.
