Advice on Long Documents

Rob E

I am an reasonably advanced Word user, but a friend of
mine is about to write a book and he wants some help with
formatting etc.

I would like to be able to give him some helpful tips, but
unfortunately we are short of time. Is there anywhere
(perhaps on-line) that I could get some tips on things
like helpful fields, bookmarks and indexing?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob E.
