I currently have a compaq computer that is 400mh with a Celeron processor.
I have Windows 98 version 2 and am running Microsoft Offic. Seperatly I
have Microsoft Access 97. I have been doing some part ime work out of my
home and now need to be able to get into some Access 2000 files. What is
the most cost effective thing I can do to get buy until get a new computer
later this year.

Probably boost your RAM to 512. That normally gives you the best increase in
performance for the least number of dollars invested.
