Hello All,

Previously running Office v.x 10.1.3 and decided to download and install
10.1.4 and 10.1.5. Things seemed ok but then Excel and PowerPoint will
unexpectedly quit after the splash screen and seeing the menu options. Word
and Entourage work just fine. I've rebooted and also run First Aid to
repair permissions. Still the same. I even reinstalled 10.1.5. Please
help! This is driving me crazy!

Wow! It worked! What is wrong with that file? Is this documented anywhere
with Microsoft for users having similar issues? Wow! Thanks again!

It's one of those things passed around. I could pretend to be a genius
but I'd be lying. A kind user over at MacFixit suggested it to me as I
was having the same problem. I'm simply passing it on. Do the same. Divx
is a third party component for Quicktime so you can play DivX movies. I
can live without it.

Ok. Sounds good. I will do the same. I sent an e-mail to
www.macwindows.com with the fix because they had a recent article about
these issues. I also just did a quick Google search on DivX and Office for
the Mac 10.1.5 and found some posts about people deleting DivX and
downloading the version before that and it worked fine. But I'm going to
leave it alone since it works. Thanks again!
