Russell

I just upgraded my mother-in-laws computer from 98 to XP
and now when I click on mail it starts up an installing
window and asks to insert the Microsoft Office 2000
Premium disk and says missing omint.dll file.

I inserted the XP cd and it does not find anything. I do
not have a Mircosoft Office 2000 Premium disk because it
does not come in the XP package.

Okay, are you talking Windows 98 to WINDOWS XP upgrade or Outlook 98 to
Office XP upgrade? I am confused. Where does Office/Outlook 2000 come into
this picture? Your original post was very unclear.

Are you sure about the error message? I am finding no hits on the MSKB.

Sorry about the confusion. It is Win98 to Win XP upgrade.
After I upgraded to Win XP everything worked fine until
we went to check e-mail for the first time. When you
click on read mail it brings up a small window that says
installing. It cannot find a file and asks for the
Microsoft Office 2000 Premium disk. I do not have this
disk as it does not come in the Win XP upgrade box from
Microsoft and I have no idea why it is asking for this
disk. I tried to find the missing file by searching on
the Win XP disk but it is not there that I can find.
Thank you for your help.
