after aug 2007 updates access failure

After installing 08-2007 critical and security updates, immediately after
opening an access database...access 2003 shuts down. error in event viewer
Application log...

Faulting application msaccess.exe, version 11.0.6566.0, stamp 42cdb33e,
faulting module msaccess.exe, version 11.0.6566.0, stamp 42cdb33e, debug? 0,
fault address 0x000f3016.

How do I attempt to fix this? There are several access databases used in our
offices and I am unable to use any of them.
