After computer time Change, can not connect to exchange

Running windows 7 , with outlook 2007. Had a computer time problem so I back
dated the computer, since then, I can not access my exchange server, Now if I
roll the time back again, I can connect but if I go to fix the date, I
contact not access exchange. So is Outlook/Exchange casheing the date and
time somewhere?
Any suggestions would be great!

thanks

The time of the connecting client should indeed (closely) match with the one
of the Exchange server.
Which issue were you trying to fix by "backdating" your computer?
Did you set the time/date into the past or did you correct it as you were
currently working in the future?

At first, I backdated my computer to run a C# appl. that depends on the
current computer date, but then I advanced the date to the proper date and
time, stop Outlook, then restarted with the proper date and time. When it
wouldn't connect, I rolled back the date and now I'm connected but living in
the past!

thanks

Initially, I just restarted Outlook, but then restarted the computer both
would not connect to the exchange server. We had this problem once before,
and one of the programmers found a link about the problem but doesn't
remember and didn't save it, but the solutions was simply , like deleting a
file, changing a registry entry... and restarting but no one here can
remember the proper file to delete or change...
