After database split - adding new tables

I have split my database, and now need to add a new table. How do I add the
new table?

Do I add it to the front end, then run the splitter again? Do I add it to
the back end? If so, how do I add this to my linked table manager for an
update?

Add the table to the back end.

Then open the front end and link the table:
File | Get External | Link
