after I rebuild database

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: imap Hi,

I'm unclear what to do after I rebuild/compact the database. (First of all, it was 838 GB, the rebuild is now 5.84 GB -- however it indicated the rebuild wasn't successful??)

What should I do to test the rebuild and the integrity of the new database? Does Ent automatically use the database labeled rebuild?

thanks

I will add that ENT is still stalling and not downloading mail after this attempt to fix it.

If the rebuild was unsuccessful, then you are going to be left with an
Identity that is corrupted.

Could you open the Identity before you tried to rebuild? If yes, then you
can manually export your data and import into a new Identity.
Does Ent automatically use the database labeled rebuild?

No, this is backup. You can however launch from the old Identity to try and
recover your data.
