After infrastructure hotfix, now must enter "h" for hours in MyTasks?

Prior to the latest hotfix, one could enter 1 and Project Web Access
My Task would accept that as 1h. Now, it converts it to 8h.
Likewise, if .3 is entered, that number is converted to 2.4 h.
LIKEWISE, 8 is converted to 64h.

Sounds as if you are forced now to enter the "h" after the hours in
order to enter hours.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed to accept any number
entered as hours??

Thanks,

There is a setting for this - can't recall the exact name but it is near the
lower middle part of the project server admin page.

However, apparently remaining work can only be entered in Days... so you
might want to get used to entering in days.

The issue is we've always been able to enter "8" in My Tasks and it
accepts it as 8h until today and it ONLY impacts one person so far.
Two or three other users enter "8" and its converted to "8h". The
one user I'm talking about enters, say .3 and its converted to 2.4h.

Did this one resource modify there web part? I think if you edit the My Tasks
web part that under the PWA section you can set the Work and Duration Format
to anything from Seconds to Decades. Might want to check and see what the
settings are.

I don't think they are capable of editing their own web part. Is this
true? How? I see no site actions option for them in the top right
hand side of the screen
