After installing 2007 Upgrade - Deleting XP ?

I have successfully installed Office 2007 Small Business Edition and all is
working fine but I notice that Office XP is still in place and occupies a
very large amount of disk space. Can XP be removed now that 2007 is in place?

Thanks,

You can use Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel to remove older versions of Office apps. If the older version had apps
not included in your new version the older apps would usually be left in place.

Bob,

Many thanks. I will remove all that remains of XP then and clear up some
disk space in the process.
