After installing SP1 for Windows Vista

Dear all, I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and Microsoft Office 2007.
My Windows update programme alerted me that I need to download and install
service pack 1 for Office 2007, and was shown as an impotant update.

After downloading and installing, I now find that I can't open previous or
newly saved Word documents, I get a message saying Windows can't find the
document. However, once this massage is closed and the blank screen is
closed, I then try to reopen the document and it opens correctly ?? it does
this only with Word documents, both previously and newly saved documents ??

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest that you run all the other updates because there were many other
patches and servicepack 2 that you need to install too. Is Vista up to date
too?
