After installing SP3 - I can not open MS Project 2003 Professional

After installing SP3 - I can not open MS Project 2003 Professional on the
server.

Has anyone ran into this problem?
I have tried to uninstall MS Project and reinstall it, but it still does not
work. It keeps wanting to open in Safe Mode when you click okay, it comes
back with could not open.

Help!.... thanks goodness it's on a test system.
