After Office 2007 upgrade, PC does not shut down normally

Willly

I have tried this a few times, and the same thing seems to happen. After
installing the Office 2007 Beta 2 over my existing Office 2003 installation,
it seems to be keeping my PC from shuting down or restarting normally.
When I select Shut Down or Restart, it accepts the selection, but then
nothing happens. I can no longer even get to CTRL-ALT-DEL after the selection.
I have to hold the power button to get my laptop to shut down.

I can't find where to file a bug report on this. :(

Hi Willly,

You can use the feedback tool for Office 2007 from the link below to send information directly to Microsoft.

As a guess, there's something else running that Office 2007 may have a problem with, often an add-in of some type or monitoring
utility.
