I had to reload Windows 98 after all file pointers were lost (after a McAfee
virus scan told me to remove istsvc.exe as a potential risk and unnecessary
file).
Now, all MS Office programs are there, but when launching Outlook 97/98, I
get OUTLLIB.DLL file linked to missing export MAPI32DLL:239.
Both OUTLLIB.DLL and MAPI32DLL files are where they should be (System or
System32 subfolders), but I can't get Outlook to launch. I also get a
strange error message with Contol Panel Mail and Fax options - not enough
memory resources (even when no windows open). never happened before.
thanks for any insight.
