After Selecting "Show Gridlines" in Option List No Gridlines Print

I am using MS Word 2003 pro. When using the "Calendar Wizard" no gridlines
show on the month. If I select "Show Gridlines" in Toolbar gridlines appear
but they don't print.
In Print Preview there is no "Print/Show" Gridlines option so when calander
prints the gridlines are not there.
Any hints??? Works fine in MS Word 2000 without selecting any option. The
grilines auot appear when calander is selected.

Found an answer, not the one I prefer, in another discussion. Must use option
in Borders and Shading menu.
