After installing Office 2003 Upgrade, “Office 2000 SR-1 Disc 2†which is
still listed as being install in “Add or Remove programs†and “Msinfo32.exeâ€
still lists all Windows Office 2000 and its applications as installed.

Is it safe to uninstall “Office 2000 SR-1 Disc 2†with out effecting the
“Office 2003†installation?
In addition, how do I remove the “Office 2000†entries list in “System
Information

Perhaps the 2003 upgrade was a different version to 2k i.e. standard v
premium
thus the installed apps from o2k disk2 weren't upgraded, thus weren't
uninstalled.
o2k disk 2 contains publisher , small bus.manager.

I have download the Office 2003 Resource Kit and use the removal tool, all of
Office 2000 apllications are still listed in the program Msinfo.exe as still
being installled. The Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Disc 2 is also still
listed as installed in Add or Remove programs.
